Poker hand rankings, from royal flush to high card

The standard order of five-card poker hands, strongest first. It is the same order whether you are at a live dealer table or playing an RNG game.

Ties and kickers

When both hands are the same type, the higher ranks win: a pair of kings beats a pair of tens, and a flush led by an ace beats one led by a queen.

If the main ranks match too, the remaining cards decide, from the highest down. These are the kickers. With a pair of jacks each, a hand of J-J-A-9-4 beats J-J-K-Q-10, because the ace outranks the king.

Suits do not rank in standard poker. Two hands with the same ranks tie, and each game's rules say how a tie with the dealer is paid.

Reading a paytable

Paytables show what each hand pays as a ratio. The first number is your winnings for every unit of stake; you also get the stake back.

Example
A bet of SGD 10 on a hand that pays 3:1 wins SGD 30, and you get your SGD 10 back: SGD 40 in total.
